Pasta Payasam


Ingredients:

Pasta – 1 ¼ cup (boiled)

Milk – 3 cups

Sugar – ½ cup

Elachi powder – ½ teaspoon

Ghee – 1 teaspoon

Cashewnuts -4 to 5 (break into small pieces)

Grind to paste:

Coconut – 3 teaspoons

Boiled pasta – ¼ cup

Cashewnuts - 4

 

Method:

  1. Heat milk in a non stick deep pan in low flame for about 20 minutes.
  2. Add boiled pasta and the ground paste and allow boiling for 10 more minutes.
  3. Heat ghee and add broken cashew pieces, fry until golden brown.
  4. Add it to the payasam.
  5. Serve chilled or hot, this would taste great.
