Beetroot Salad


Ingredients
:

Beetroot – 2

Onion – ½

Roasted peanuts – a handful

Salt – ¾ teaspoon

Green chilli – 1

Coriander leaves – 2 teaspoons (finely chopped)

Curry leaves – 10 (finely chopped)

Lemon juice – from ½ lemon

To Powder:

Pepper – 1 teaspoon

Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon

Method:

  1. Grate beetroot after peeling skin.
  2. Chop onion finely.
  3. In a bowl add grated beetroot with all other ingredients and powdered pepper and cumin seeds.
  4. Mix together well and serve.
