Jhal Muri

Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:

Puffed rice – 2 cups

Sev – ¼ cup

Roasted peanuts – ¼ cup

Potato – ¼ cup (1 small potato cubed & boiled)

Onion – ¼ cup (finely chopped)

Tomato – ¼ cup (finely chopped)

Cucumber – ¼ cup (finely chopped)

Green chilli – 1 (finely chopped)

Coriander leaves – 4 teaspoons (finely chopped)

Mustard oil – 2 teaspoons

Powders:

Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon

Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon

Red chilli powder – ¼ teaspoon

Kala namak – 1/8 teaspoon

Method:

  1. In a large bowl add all the ingredients one by one & combine well.
  2. Taste and adjust the masala/salt if required and serve immediately.

Note: Make sure to mix in the ingredients just before eating as the puffed rice becomes soggy when left for some time.
