3 Minute Mysore Pak (Microwave preparation)


Besan - 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar – 1 cup
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Milk - 2 teaspoons


  1. Dry roast besan in a non stick kadai until you get nice aroma and then allow this to cool.
  2. Melt ghee in a microwave for one minute on high.
  3. Now mix all the ingredients in the melted ghee. 
  4. Mix well. 
  5. Microwave the mixture for two to three minutes.  
  6. Remove the mixture in between and mix well. 
  7. Once you see bubbles forming on the mixture, remove and mix nicely and pour over a greased plate. (Care should be taken not to over cook the mixture)
  8. Allow it to rest for 5 to 10 minutes cut into pieces. 
  9. Remove after it cools completely.
