Quick Badam Halwa (Made with Almond meal)


Almond meal - 1 cup
Milk - ½ cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Ghee – 2 tablespoons
Saffron color - a pinch in a teaspoon of milk
Almonds - 2 (finely chopped)

Makes: 1 cup


  1. Roast the almond meal in a flat pan in low flame for about a minute or two. (Please ensure it does not change color)
  2. Add in the milk, sugar & mix well.
  3. Keep stirring occasionally.
  4. Add in the saffron color in a teaspoon of milk & mix in well.
  5. Keep stirring continuously until mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  6. Garnish with some chopped almonds & store in a dry container and enjoy your halwa for upto a week.
Note: If you cannot get hold of store bought almond meal, just grind raw almonds in mixer grinder or food processor to coarse powder.
