Mini Besan Laadoos


Ingredients:

Besan (Kadalai Maavu) – 1 cup

Ghee – ½ cup

Milk – ½ cup

Cardamom powder – 2 or 3 pinches

Almonds (sliced) – 2

Powdered sugar – ½ cup

 


Method:

  1. Heat ghee in low flame until it melts.
  2. Add besan and fry for 4 or 5 minutes until raw smell vanishes.
  3. Switch off flame and add milk, mix thouroughly with a ladle.
  4. Once cooled add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, mix well and make laadoos(balls). (I prefer making small laddoos and hence the name)
  5. Garnish with almonds.
  6. Tempting mini besan laadoos is ready to taste.
