Dal Parathas


Ingredients:

Dal filling used in kachori - 1 cup (left over)

OR

Left over cooked dal

Atta – 2 cups 

Salt – ½ teaspoon

Chilli powder – ½ teaspoon

Garam masala powder – ¼ teaspoon

Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon

Hing – ¼ teaspoon

Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon

Oil – 1 teaspoon

Ajwain – 1 teaspoon

To Toast:

Oil - 10 teaspoons

Yield: 8 to 10

Method:

  1. Grind the left over kachori dal filling to fine powder. (If using left over dal instead of kachori filling mash nicely with hand.)
  2. Add all other ingredients to it & make dough.
  3. Roll out like regular chappathis.
  4. Serve hot with pickle/ tomato sauce/raitha.

Optional:

Kids would love to have this with butter.
