Roasted Potato Slices


Ingredients:

Potato – 6

Chilli powder – ½ teaspoon

Sambar powder – ½ teaspoon

Turmeric powder - ¼ teaspoon

Salt – 1 ½ teaspoon

Rice flour – 1 teaspoon

Besan (Kadalai maavu) – 2 teaspoons

Grind coarsely:

Ginger – 1 inch piece

Garlic – 1 clove

Curry leaves – 10

 

Yield: 4 to 5 servings


Method:

  1. Cut potatoes into slices. (Neither too thin nor too thick)
  2. Add the ground ingredients & the remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix well & keep aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat dosa tawa & place about 10 -12 potato pieces.
  5. Pour around a teaspoon of oil & keep in medium flame.
  6. Turn sides around & fry till golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with rice & kuzambu.
