Carrot Halwa


Ingredients:

Carrot – ½ kg

Sugar – ¾ cup

Condensed milk – 1 ½ tablespoon

Elachi powder – ½ teaspoon

Cashews – 3 or 4 to garnish.

 

Method:

  1. Grate the carrots.
  2. Add grated carrots with ½ cup of sugar in a microwave safe bowl. (Preferably a glass one)
  3. Cook closed on 70% power for 13-14 minutes.
  4. Add rest of the sugar & condensed milk, mix well.
  5. Cook uncovered on power HIGH for 8 minutes.
  6. Garnish with broken cashews & serve hot.
