Cheese Paniyaram


A great after school snack which kids would love to have...

Ingredients:

Idli batter – 7 small scoops

Cheese slices – 2 

Pepper powder – ½ teaspoon

Carrot – 2 teaspoons (grated)

 

Yield: 7 pieces





Method:

  1. Add grated carrots & pepper powder to the batter, mix uniformly.
  2. Cut each cheese slice into 9 equal squares.
  3. Add a drop of oil to each kuzhi.
  4. Half fill the holes.
  5. Add one or two of the cut square pieces.
  6. Fill the rest of space as well.
  7. Keep closed till the top surface looks cooked.
  8. Turn over & cook for 2 or 3 more minutes.
  9. Serve with tomate sauce.
