Onion & Tomato Chutney


Ingredients:

Small onions - 1 small cup

Onions – 1

Tomato – 2

Red chillies - 3 or 4

Garlic – 1 clove

Ginger – ½ inch piece

Salt – 1 teaspoon




Method:

  1. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and allow spluttering.
  2. Add finely chopped ginger & garlic pieces, red chillies & sauté for a minute.
  3. Add small onions, chopped onions & sauté for 2 to 3 minute.
  4. Add tomatoes & salt and sauté till water from tomatoes evaporate (3 tp 5 mins).
  5. Allow to cool & grind to fine paste.
