Makes : 4 serves
Aval – 1 cup
Milk – 2 cups
Condensed milk – ½ can
Sugar – ½ cup
Ghee – 1 tablespoon
Broken cashews – 1 tablespoon
- Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan and fry cashews till golden brown.
- Remove cashews from the ghee and add aval, fry till golden brown.
- Add milk to the roasted aval and allow boiling till milk rises.
- Add sugar and allow further boiling for 5 mins.
- Add condensed milk and allow to boil for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Garnish with roasted cashews and serve hot.
