Paruppu Thogayal

Makes : 3 to 4 serves

Ingredients:

Channa dal – ½ cup

Tuar dal – ½ cup

Urad dal – 2 teaspoons

Red chillies – 7-10

Hing – a pinch

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Ginger – ½ inch piece

Curry leaves - few

Oil -1 teaspoon

Method:

1) Roast channa dal, tuar dal, urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves in oil.

2) Allow the contents to cool.

3) Add the remaining ingredients & grind to coarse paste.

Accompaniment:

  • Can be had with rice & ghee.
