5 Minute Mysore Pak

Gram flour (besan) - 1 cup
Powdered sugar – 1 cup
Ghee - 1 cup
Milk - 1 tablespoo

- Sift the gram flour through a sieve ensuring no lumps.
- Add a tablespoon of ghee along with gram flour to a microwave safe bowl & cook on high power (100%power - default power) for a minute.
- Take out stir once & cook for another minute (Nice aroma rises).
- Sift the roasted flour through a sieve to ensure no lumps.
- To a microwave safe bowl add melted ghee, sugar and milk, mix well.
- Add the roasted & sifted gram flour and microwave this mixture for a minute.
- Remove the mixture, mix well and microwave for another minute.
- Remove the mixture, mix well and microwave for another minute.
- Once you see the mixture bubbling on top the mysore pak is done.
- Mix well and pour over a plate greased with ghee.
- Allow it to rest for 5 minutes and then cut into pieces.
- Allow to rest for another 5 to 10 minutes & store the pieces in a airtight container.
