Methi Aloo

Aloo (potatoes) - ½ kg
Methi leaves – 2 handfuls of leaves
Salt – 1 ½ teaspoons
Cumin seeds – ¾ teaspoon
Corriander powder – 1 ½ teaspoons
Oil – 2 teaspoons
Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon
Green chilly - 1

- Cut potatoes into small cubes.
- Boil potatoes in pressure cooker for just a whistles.
- Allow cooling & peel skin, keep aside.
- Fine chop the methi leaves & green chillies.
- Heat oil in a non-stick kadai.
- Add cumin seeds, finely chopped green chillies and the potato pieces.
- Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt.
- Sauté in sim till potato pieces turn golden brown.
- Add the chopped leaves.
- Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve hot with rotis/chappathis.
