Bread Jamun

Makes: 8 to 10 pieces


Left over sugar syrup – 1 bowl

Sweet bread – 6 slices

Milk – 1 cup (take in a wide bowl)

Oil – to deep fry


  1. Cut brown corners of bread, cut into halves.
  2. Dip each bread piece in milk, quickly take out and squeeze all extra milk.
  3. Make ball with both palms, repeat the same with all bread pieces.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  5. Allow this to soak in sugar syrup for at least an hour or two.
