Curry leaves - 6
Salt - 2 teaspoons
Sambar powder - 2 teaspoons
Corriander leaves - to garnish
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Kadalai maavu (Besan) - 1&1/2 teaspoons
Special masala powder - 1 teaspoon.

Method:
- Heat oil in tawa, add mustard seeds & allow to splutter.
- Add curry leaves, fenugreek seeds & saute.
- Add onions and fry for a minute.
- Add tomatoes and salt and saute for 2 mins.
- Add 2 cups of water & sambar powder.
- Allow this to boil till raw smell vanishes.
- Mix besan & special masala powder in a cup of water without lumps.
- Pour this onto the boiling sambar.
- Garnish with few corriander leaves.
