Green peas payasam

Makes: 2 – 3 serves

Ingredients:

Boiled Green peas – 1 cup

Milk – 1 cup

Condensed milk – ½ tin

Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon

Ghee – 2 teaspoons

Cashews – a handful

Method:

  1. Grind boiled green peas to smooth paste.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan, add cashews and fry till golden brown.
  3. Take cashews off and in the remaining ghee add the green peas paste and fry for a minute.
  4. Add milk and allow boiling for 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Add condensed milk, cardamom powder and allow boiling for 3 more minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
