Paneer Burji

Makes : 4 serves

Ingredients:

Paneer – 200 gms

Onion – 1 big

Capsicum – 1 (I have used 2 colors of capsicum)

Coriander leaves – 2 teaspoons (finely chopped)

Lemon juice – 1 to 1 ½ teaspoons

Salt – 1 ½ teaspoons

Oil – 2 teaspoons

Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon

Powders:

Chilli powder – ¾ teaspoon

Corriander powder – 1 ½ teaspoon

Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon

Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon

Method:

  1. Crumble the paneer coarsely with hands or chirp in mixer grinder.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai and add cumin seeds.
  3. Once they crackle add finely chopped onions and the powders mentioned.
  4. After 3 or 4 minutes of frying onions, add capsicum along with salt and sauté for 2 minutes.
  5. Add crumbled paneer and mix well, saute for a couple of minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and add lemon juice once the mixture is cooled a bit.
  7. Serve with rotis.
