Cauliflower Curry (Dry)

Makes : 4 serves

Ingredients:

Cauliflower – ½ (break into small flowerets)

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Hing – ¼ teaspoon

Oil -1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon

Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon

Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon

Besan – 2 teaspoons

Special masala powder– 1 teaspoon

Method:

  1. Soak the flowerets in boiling hot water with turmeric powder for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai.
  3. Add mustard seeds & allow spluttering.
  4. Add cumin seeds, hing, peas & sauté for a miute.
  5. Drain the flowerets of excess water.
  6. Add the flowerets, salt & mix well, cook on simmer.
  7. Add besan & special masala powder once flowerets are cooked.
  8. Serve hot.
