Seppankizangu Fry

Makes : 4 serves

Ingredients:

Seppankizangu – ½ kg

Besan – 5 teaspoons

Rice flour – 3 teaspoons

Salt – 1 ½ teaspoon

Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon

Hing – ¼ teaspoon

Oil – to deep fry.

Method:

  1. Boil seppankizangu with enough water till just cooked.
  2. Allow to cool & then peel skin.
  3. Cut into thin slices.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients & mix well. (Without mashing the contents)
  5. Heat oil for deep fry.
  6. Drop them one by one.
  7. Fry till golden brown & drain onto a bowl layered with tissue paper.
