Maggi Dosa

Makes: 4 to 6 dosas


Maggi noodles – 1 pack

Salt – 1 flat teaspoon

Chilli powder – ½ teaspoon

Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon

Pepper powder – 2 teaspoons

Besan (Kadalai Maavu/Gram flour) – ¼ cup

Rice Flour - 1 tablespoon

Turmeric powder - ¼ teaspoon

Water – approx ½ a glass

Oil – 10 teaspoons


  1. Cook maggi noodles as per the instructions on the pack (without the flavoring).
  2. Allow this to cool to room temperature.
  3. Add chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt, besan & mix thoroughly. Click here to know consistency...
  4. Heat a non-stick dosa tawa, pour into small dosa.
  5. Crush pepper on top/ sprinkle pepper powder on top.
  6. Pour one teaspoon of oil around dosa. Click here for pouring technique...
  7. Turn to other side when the top surface looks cooked.
  8. Cook the other side till light golden brown.
  9. Serve hot with tomato sauce.


  • Pour dosas immediately after preparing the batter.
  • Serve hot from tawa for great taste.
