Powders:

Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon

Grind coarsely:
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Garlic – 1 clove
Tempering:
Oil – 2 to 3 teaspoon
Bay leaf – 1
Cinnamon stick – 2
Cloves -4
Fennel seeds – ½ teaspoon
Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
