Red Capsicum Pulao

Red capsicum – 1 big
Frozen green peas – a handful
Oil – 2 teaspoons
Salt – 1 ½ teaspoons
Cooked Basmati rice – 1 ½ cups
Coriander leaves – 2 teaspoons (finely chopped)
Chilli powder – ¾ teaspoon
Garam masala powder – ¼ teaspoon
Seasoning:
Bay leaf – 1
Cinnamon – 1
Cloves – 2
Cardamom – 2
Saunf – ½ teaspoon

Method:
- Heat oil in a non-stick deep pan.
- Fine chop the capsicum and keep aside.
- Fry ingredients mentioned under seasoning until golden brown.
- Add the finely chopped red capsicum along with salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder and green peas & sauté for 5 to 7 minutes on a medium flame. (Capsicum should be crunchy)
- Allow cooked ingredients to cool and add to cooked basmati rice.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with raitha.
