Banana Paniyaaram

Makes: 10 – 12 paniyaarams

Ingredients:

Ripe Banana – 1

Wheat flour – 1 cup

Jaggery – ¼ cup

Coconut – ½ cup (grated)

Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon

Salt – a pinch

Baking soda – a pinch

Ghee – 12 teaspoons

Method:

  1. Add wheat flour, jaggery, coconut, cardamom powder, salt and baking soda to mashed bananas and mix well without lumps.
  2. Heat kuzhi paniyaaram plate on stove and grease each mould with a teaspoon of ghee.
  3. Add the batter filling ¾ of each mould and turn sides once golden brown.
