Spicy Spring onion chutney
Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients:
Spring onion – 1 sprig
Garlic – 2 cloves
Green chillies – 4
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1 flat teaspoon
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Tempering:
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
Method:
- Heat oil, add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, chopped garlic and fry until golden brown.
- Add chopped spring onions and saute for few minutes (until they start to shrink in size)
- Allow this to cool.
- Grind to past in mixer grinder adding salt.
- Add tempering on top and serve as accompaniment to dosa/idli/rotis.
